Is Puttanesca vegan?

Puttanesca (alla puttanesca) is an Italian pasta sauce originating from Naples, typically made with tomatoes, olives, capers, anchovies, garlic, chilli, and olive oil. It is not vegan or vegetarian due to the inclusion of anchovies.
