Is Sulphur Black 1 vegan?

Sulphur Black 1 is a sulfur dye used primarily for dyeing cotton and other cellulosic fibres to produce deep black shades. It is one of the most widely used black dyes in the textile industry and is applied via a reduction-oxidation process. It is a synthetic dye produced from organic precursors.
