Is Vat Green 1 vegan?

Vat Green 1 is a synthetic organic vat dye derived from benzanthrone, used for dyeing viscose, silk, wool, paper, and soap in green shades. It appears as a dark green solid and is applied via the reduction-oxidation vatting process. It is produced entirely from synthetic precursors.
