Is Calcium Chloride vegan?

Calcium chloride is an odourless white crystalline salt produced from limestone reacted with hydrochloric acid, from the Solvay process using limestone and sodium chloride solution, or from naturally occurring brines. It is used as a food additive, firming agent, de-icing agent, and in water treatment.
