Calcium hydrogen carbonate is a mineral compound used as an acidity regulator, anticaking agent, stabilizer and surface colourant, registered as EU food additive E170(ii) (INS 170(ii)). It exists only in solution and is closely related to calcium carbonate (E170(i)).
