Is Starch vegan?

Starch is a complex polysaccharide carbohydrate found in seeds, fruits, tubers, roots, and stem pith of plants such as corn, potatoes, wheat, beans, and rice. It is widely used in food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical products as a thickener, binder, absorbent, and texture modifier.
